It's huge, right, and I reckon theyve even got it a bit low as well. The last of the 25-1 in the books went today. Hopefully he arrives at Epsom fighting fit, could be very exciting. Must be one day at a time with him, seeing as his price is so big.

I thought he ran next Sunday? Surely he won't show up for the Derby then, even if he does win well.

Yeah that's what I meant, sorry. Can't see them rushing him for the Derby?

yeah...all seems very hush/hush with him...has the makings of their best..if he's trained on...the lack of info on their runners is just getting boring...not like they need to land a touchLaugh

Too true, maybe we get too used to the likes of Paul Nicholls over Winter!

I'm always wary of topspeed from France (see the Makfi thread) but the time does look pretty good compared to Zafisio's. They have a tendancy to crawl early in French races though and Jan Vermeer certainly didn't do that.

I gave him a 119 for the France run. I can't remember a 2yo getting a 119 EVER on my numbers.

still, all the signs were that he was special judging him by the the other races on the card that day.
Topspeed wasnt far off at all, he actually underestimated him.
Still if he flops in the Derby and is never seen again we'll never know. He has to go and build on that figure now.

it's going to be an exciting week for you Roger, well done on the price. Personally I'm hoping SNA, or Rewilding can finish first but good luck to you.

He's not proven himself special by what he beat the other day imo. Just issuing a word of caution that's all :)

Cheers redal, rarely get a live outsider in a big race like The Derby coming through, so fingers crossed he still gets there and does his best.  Good Luck with SNA and Rewilding.
