With VK not putting in a shift i thought id throw my thoughts out for a slating

stats point out a horse that has proven his

- best form over the trip
- and on prevalent ground conditions

no brainer but just dont be looking for an improver or a too much of an angle

Al Muheer: needs at least seven furlongs at this track and on high enough mark

Baldemar: never shown form on g/f ground 0-0-5

Brave Prospector: moody git who never shows up fto.  trainer showed earlier in the week with sayif that he cant get them ready plus tough mark

Buachaill Dona: only win over 6 was in a small field so not ideal

Esoterica: Fourth in Bronze Cup but all wins at 7f/1m which is not ideal for this

Himalya: handicap debut but some money for him; noseda kicking asss at the moment so place claims very least but track and trip concerns

Hotham: shocking form presently and best form over min

Ingleby Lady: not well h/cd to me and tough ask fto

Magaling: not sure the new stable will bring about necessary improvement

Nota Bene: 3 winners have won off this mark and he goes well fresh.  all form is mainly over 6 and on fast ground.  fto is the time to get him as he burst blood vessels.  lightly raced 8yo.  chance

Oldjoesaid: all form over 5 with cut.  nope

Red Cape: tough turf mark and not well in

Sunrise Safari: track wont suit and now up in the weights after winning a muck race

Whistledownwind: having a pop for new stable as a pipe opener; no form over this trip

2pts win nota bene 20/1
1pt himilya 7/1

Cool

Good stuff Plat.

Looking at the last 5 runnings, winners have been rated 94,97,88,92,97. And aged 4,4,6,4,5.
Has to be Ingleby Lady for me, the draw should be ok as she came be produced from behind.
Maybe a saver on Whisltedownwind - the family does have speed in it.

Himalya for me too. Good 2yo, ran well in the Coventry and just took a few runs to get going last year after a long absence. Fancy that he could be a decent horse this season and trainer sending out a few winners. Bit of money for him too which is a positive in not exactly the strongest race he has ever ran in. gl.

Red Cape 14/1 for me. I'll join in on Nota Bene too, 1pt win on each.

Doesn't look a good race to me, Nota Bene holds some appeal with a decent record fresh and may have a small play on him.
