A dream that could be shattered by this time tomorrow but nevertheless...

He beat experienced horses on what was a pretty impressive debut imo - a maiden in which the 2nd, 3rd and 4th have all won since.

He looks a surer stayer than his much hyped (perhaps correctly) stable-mate Workforce, and despite not having achieved much less on a racecourse is 25pts bigger.

His sire is a bit of an unknown (to me anyway!) but has produced the top class Curlin.

At 33/1, I'm going to nail my colours to this fella making it five Derbys for SMS in what looks a very open contest.

Anyone else fancy him?

I was impressed with the way he battled at Newmarket - really stuck his neck out. Hopefully that experience will serve him well.

He looked cool as a cucumber too when coming back into the winners enclosure afterwards. A really good looking colt (to my non-expert eye).

I agree, WorkOnIt, could be anything and worth a try in what looks an open race at the moment.

The comments this morning - "We are all hoping he's not just a handicapper", proved ominous.

I wouldn't listen to anything with regards to Stoute or his team. He strikes me as a completely ignorant person. The same goes for his jockey and most others connected to them.
