Tabassum has been all but ruled out of the StanJames.com 1,000 Guineas after failing to shine in her work at Newmarket yesterday. Richard Hills thus rides Rumoush on Sunday week, while Kieren Fallon will partner Seta ahead of Music Show, the second favourite.

Meanwhile in breaking news the Racing Post Weekender "Market Forces" (Malcolm Heyhoe) headline is "Tabassum is a top bet to give Stoute further Classic glory."

Stoute seems to specialise in ante-post talking horses.

No mate, the bookies CONTINUALLY shorten his 'likely types' up without fail EVERY March & Joe Public, being Joe Public wades in...thinking this is 'stable insiders' whacking the lot on.
If people think about it, why would 'insiders' be laying into these horses on the basis of them 'cantering well' because you can set your watch by these annual gambles, they all take place before fast work has even commenced.

Which was Stoutes hoss Jonjo that rocketed to the head of the Derby market a few yrs back in around feb/march. Ended up not much better than useless
