Also rans keep giving it a boost.
Also adds to the thoery that the stands side that day ran a dgree or 2 slower
Chabal / Dick Turpin/ Free Judgement all drawn low in Dewhurst & winners of decent races since.

different trip as said.

No Hubris just gave a boost to those who ran in the Coventry.

Steinbeck was the 1 that hugged the rail all the way.

:D

Chabal did drift wildly on Dewhurst day, always suspected something dodgy and he clearly didn't run his race.

Chabal underpeformed because he went head to head with Kingsfort just 7 days after winning his maiden. It was clearly and afterthought from Jim Bolger who loves to ''chase'' the big prizes, and it took the edge of him for the Dewhurst. IMO.

Went from 7/4 in the morning to 7/2, Betfair SP 5.71, I'm not saying it was deliberately underhand, maybe he just had a bad trip over or sweated up but something was definitely not right with him and he went off really keen.

All traces of the Dewhurst are being removed from the Guineas by APOB ;)

The one left is unlikely to be ready.
