My guess would be Cumberland Lodge Royal Ascot and the King George. He looks like a typical Stoute improver.

Connections mooted the Ormonde Stakes at Chester as his next target, though also said he could go straight to Royal Ascot for the Hardwicke. Looks a smart prospect, but the runner up, Manifest, looked an even nicer sort to my eyes, really picking up well in the closing stages, showing himself to be more of a staying type than the winner - Yorkshire Cup material IMO, particularly if there is cut in the ground.

I think King George too. High hopes for the horse last year so connections will want justify their confidence.

'High hopes for the horse last year so connections will want justify their confidence'
With respect, wtf does that mean? Connections will want to win the biggest races they can with it, as with any other horse. |

It is the Hardwicke at Royal Ascot they would go for - what about Coronation Cup?

Coronations and King George's seem a bit tough??
I see Timeform went 122 off that win which would already have him where he needs to be to win Caulfield/Melbourne Cups. Whilst it is obvously hard work to get them here the races are worth more and are much easier to win than trying to beat Conduit-types in a King George. |

A mark of 122 would already gives Harbinger a big enough weight as well, but maybe with a few better Australian 3yo's at 1m 4f around currently, the weights might compress a bit. Because being lightly raced won't affect what weight he is given. I think a key point has already been made regarding the ground. I wouldn't be queuing up to back Harbinger on green concrete personally.

grand prix du saint cloud.
isnt this Stoute's race? |

Are the owners the same ones that brought Distinction down a few years ago?
He ran a fair race the first time behind Makybe Diva and interestingly came from England with a Timeform rating of 122. |

canadian international written all over him.

Is he sponsored by a Canadian firm?

I meant Hardwicke then King George. Cumberland Lodge is the end of season race. Perhaps Chester on route.

So Royal Ascot would be his 4th race of the season, surely if they thought him really good they'd take it steady with the Arc in mind?
