As some of you may know I haven't been too impressed with Mr Greatrex first season as a trainer, however I think this novice chaser has a decent chance of winning the Whitbread.

Let me explain why:
- The field looks full of exposed handicappers
- Den of Iniquity has always been held with very high regard by connections by far the best horse in the stable ;)
- Won a decent novice chase at newbury a few weeks ago - staying on particularly well.
- Lovely racing weight although slightly out of the handicap
- The owner won this last season with the previous trainer who was then sacked.

Any views??

R Handed likely to suit his jumping better and i wouldn't be too worried about the trip but fastish ground must be a serious concern ?.

trainer has not risked it on good ground or faster. Would not know if that was deliberate policy or just down to random facts. Too risky an ante post bet because I fear trainer will take him out on fast ground
