DI - From Sporting Life website [ racecards ] .
FRI : GOOD TO SOFT . SAT : GOOD TO SOFT , SOFT IN PLACES . Work that out ! As for the horses entered , Stoutes DESERT CREEK is an obvious eye catcher and if the ground does ride fast my original lincoln fancy MANASSAS becomes of interest . |

Got my info from BHA website, CC

Ok . I take it SL have just got it wrong .

If the Sporting Life's going reports are anything like their betting forecasts, then they'll be way off the mark :^0
Thought the max field for this used to be bigger than 18 ?:| Think I'll wait for the draw/final field before looking at it in any detail :) |

Harsh nibb - MOK given too much to do lto imo. SPencer should have him prominent at 10s still look fair imo.
I will also be chancing Desert Creek - always follow Stoute's 4yr old handicappers at the beginning of the season. Doesn't keep them in unless he thinks they're better than their mark. Stats support the theory as applied with LS a couple of years ago. |

Seeing is believing...
Tracked leaders, ridden to challenge 2f out, led over 1f out, kept on well towards finish |

Here's hoping he's in the same mood ;)

Not a great race for trends but I'll post them anyway:
10/10 - 4 & 5yo's 10/10 - OR of no more than 100 10/10 - Won/Placed in a field of 16+ runners (8/10 -W/Pl in 20+ runner field) 9/10 - Double-Figure Draw (8/9 since race was switched to the straight course) 8/10 - Won @ 8f or further (1 exception placed @ 8 & 10f) 8/10 - Won/Placed in a Class2 previously/making Class2 debut |

Looks like a cracking race to me this. Might have a go in it with small stakes.
|
|
By:
Anyone know when a market will be available for this? Will be taking Irish Heartbeat on in stall 6. No single figure draw winners since it was run on the straight course.
|
|
By:
surprised theres no market on here for it tho

Credit Swap looks to have an excellent e/w chance in this & is a huge price.
Since being upped to 8f he has form figures of 11123 & I feel he hasn't stopped improving yet as he was going on strongly at the end of those two placed efforts. The final 3rd to Elna Bright reads really well as Elna Bright has since gone on to win three class 2 races on the A/W over the winter. Besides such excellent form at the distance a 5th to Captain Brilliance, the Bunbury Cup 2nd over an inadequate 7f for Credit Swap reads really well & I feel he is a class 2 winner in waiting. He's yet to race in such a huge field but I feel it's just what he needs along with a strong pace which looks most likely & he is drawn close to what looks like the strongest pace side. He has also ran in two 15 runner fields finishing 4th on his debut & winning last year over this trip at Ascot. He is also a C/D winner & all his best efforts are on a straight track. He also goes very well on good ground (2/3) which looks likely. Despite being 5 he has had just 19 career starts so there is still room for further improvement, particularly now his best trip has been found. Last year he was winning & placing in his races over this trip off some big weights so his 8.06 for this race could well see him in a even better light as he was finishing out his races very strongly. With such good form at the distance & form that gives him a clear chance his price looks completely wrong to me. Of course this will be his first run but you'd have to assume this is the aim & I feel he could be much better than his rating of 90 by the end of the season. Having written all this he will probably finish last now ! Best of luck with your picks |

Hi Mr. M .
This is my handicapper to follow this season ! A hold up performer with a great turn of foot . Will always need luck in running but i will be amazed if he doesn't land a decent h'cap this season . Good luck , cc . |

Desert Creek is on my list to follow this year. Not sure about the stable form but he'll carry my money tomorrow.
|
|
By:
red - Desert Creek looks to be a typical Stoute
imporoving 4 - y - o and will no doubt be winning some decent races this year . |

Hope so, starting tomorrow :-)
Good luck, it's a difficult one to call. Thanks for your input. |
