The only reason I can see that Mad Max ain't even quoted for King George is Henderson's new found strength in depth with his staying chasers.
Stamina influences in his pedigree, was n't stopping over 2m 4f on Thurs, already has a win around Kempton over 2m.
Already has a better chance than Punchestowns in my eyes, a similar chance to Burton Port and whilst Long Run might be something else entirely, the race is a long way away - not beyond the bounds of possibility MM could be no.1 or 2 stable chance by the time the race comes around.
