What beats Fame & Glory ? must be worth a lay at least based on fitness, stable form, trip
At Longchamp think Cutlass Bay looks short these comments would put me off .. Cutlass Bay has not run for quite some time because he had a hairline fracture of a cannon bone, which kept him off the track for most of last season. This looks a nice starting point for his four-year-old campaign but he might be a bit rusty on his seasonal reappearance. He has some pretty useful form but hasn't raced for a long time."
The Bogberry was 2nd in this last year and at 14/1 looks a nice e/w bet with only 8 runners (& a suspect fav)
I like the look of Vocalised in the Gladness today. Thought he was a really decent horse in the early part of last season after winning the Greenham, althought dissapointed from then onwards. He's won 4 of his 5 starts over 7 furlongs too. Hopefully back to his best today fresh and should be ready to go first time out.
2 pts win Vocalised 4/1
gl today.

not sure Gan Amhras will like the ground so will go for Raise your heart who ran some decent races at the back end of last season in soft ground including a 2nd in the irish cambridgeshire where the trip was possibly on the short side. he then followed up with 2 wins including a listed race. Should also have a fitness edge over a few of these. 1pt e/w 25/1 Dixie Music is prob a pacemaker so will have a saver just in case he slips this field.

I did also plat - had a (very) big e/w bet on her in the 2008 Galway Mile when she was a v.unlucky 2nd to Celtic Dane & have followed her off & on ever since, thought she had too much to find on ratings today :_|

Jack Absolute just won AGAIN around Limerick, eye off the ball today :|
Great week though :)
Excellent effort on your thread, btw - do ypou accept Paypal ?:| ;) I kept forgetting to post selections on there & the ones I did put on there were bombing out, became convinced it was a jinx so left it alone towards the end (Bluesea Cracker & Always Waining results suggest I might have been right!!!)
Will try to put EVERY bet on the flat thread - any decision on whether we can settle @ PMU prices on French Racing iyo ?:| Went back thru last season & couldn't believe the strike-rate/profit I had on French Racing (especuially at PMU prices) - gonna take that far more seriously this season

:^0 Ain't used BF for ages - usually back e/w so the place prices aren't worth it. Btw, you seemed to have a lot of 2nds on your thread that you didn't back e/w - can I ask, is that your policy usually ?:| Personally, I back everything from 9/4 (1/5 odds) & 2/1 (1/4 odds) or above each-way - hate giving anything back to the books
I know luck doesn't come into it really, just hard work - Cheers about the PMU

With 9/4 @ 1/5 odds get 72.5% of stake back if placed & with 2/1 @ 1/4 odds get 75% back - has made a huge difference to my yearly profit/loss totals

Tbh, have been much more disciplined over last few years - usually go 1pt e/w, sometimes 2pts e/w but v.rarely more than that, could never go 3-4pts win only like some lads on here do. May be dependent on people's financial situations
Whatever works for each individual, I suppose - catch ya laters B-)
