Got sh@gged in the weights when he won the Becher, like any other winner does
Why they run serious grand national horses in that race i'll never know :| |
By:
Nothin wrong wit hom so, had nt looked at the market in a while, was surprised he was so big :| Mite av to threw a bit at him @ that price
By:
obviously has a problem. and has a nice wieght he won the last day easwily enough
By:
agreed

He has been consistently weak in the market. First of all after winning the Beecher then, more surprisingly IMO, after winning the Bobbyjo.
This pattern of opposition does not immediately suggest an injury while there is little reason to doubt this is his target (trainers comments + course form are enough to convince me). It just looks like someone thinks there is a big hole in his resume and is prepared to back that opinion. I feel the complete opposite and have stepped in on more than one occasion at average odds of 35. |

atr say stable said all systems go for Aintree
By:
ridiculous price imo if alls well ive alresady backed him with bft and chief dan earlier in season but might have to go in again on vic venturi
By:
Damn
We seem to have talked his price down :D |
By:
;) had some at 30 anyway
By:
email from atr saying he's galloping after racing at navan tomorrow.
By:
Back into 23 but this is still much bigger than the bookies 16/1 so participation must still be in doubt.
By:
with a list of 70 odd horses on betfair 23s to the bookies 16s is not that far removed tbf for a 40 runner race
By:
id b more worried about the lack of money for tricky trickster
By:
I think people have gradually realised how bad a prep that was in the Gold Cup by TTrickster .....almost unprecedented for a horse to win the GN after so few chase starts and it's going to try to do it after that display...not for me
By:
listening to the trainers comments after the last race he sounded far more excited about black apalachi's performance, stating that vv was 100% for that run whereas ba needed the run....ba sounds like he is the trainers preferred horse for the race.

By:
21 steady now ;)
By:
Paddy Flood broken collarbone :(
And Vic Venturi near 40 now :0 |
By:
Davy Russell doesn't have a ride, does he? I'd have thought he'd get it.
By:
Sorry, he's got the ride on Cerium - he wasn't jocked up yesterday.
By:
Roger Loughran anyone ???
By:
loughran will surely get the leg up
By:
watch the becher and you wont want to back vic. Jumped sketchy and wont get away with it in national. Hello Bud on the other hand jumped superbly in that race
By:
surely paddy floods ijury cant be the reason for such a major drift was 32 this morning which looked over priced now 38 what is going on
By:
Loughran confirmed???
By:
