I've already laid Canford Cliffs for the Guineas (some months ago). I'm now waiting for him to win the Greenham impressively before laying him again (at shorter prices) for the Guineas. Top class 6-7f colt, may stay a mile in Group 2/3 company later on, but not in the Guineas.

he won at royal ascot at two,one winner out of the last forty something years has won the 2000,that was Henry the Nav.and Hannon aint O'Brien.
Attraction the only R.Ascot 2-y-old winner to win the 1000 since1971,
last Derby winning 2-y-old R.Ascot winner?,Mill Reef.!!!,i certainly wouldnt be hopeful!! LOL anyway.

The sprint division is so poor at the moment that Canford Cliffs could probably mop up the top sprint races much in the same way Oasis Dream did.

Talk Sport Radio , this morning Alan Brazil said he had spoke to R.Hannon junior yesterday and asked about CC ( as Brazil has 16-1 ) was told he did a brilliant piece of work this morning , but is showing so much speed we are not sure he will stay 1 mile. Shock, Horror !

wasn't he second in the 1990 Coventry?

If Generous did that he was a bit different as he was bred to stay 12 furlongs well and of course did just that, an underestimated Derby winner imo - beat the French Derby winner very well in Ireland after his Epsom romp and the King George. He was a brilliiant middle distance horse at his best. Shame he ran below form in the Arc.

I reckon Dr Devious ran placed in the Coventry but somethin in back of mind says Generous won tho dont know whether it was coventry or Chesham.

Why was that then Push? The one colt unlucky in that Coventry was Firebreak 2nd because he jumped the road.

Niche won the Norfolk for Hannon went on to finish 2nd in the 1000G.
Landseer won the Coventry and was only just beaten in the French 2000G.

By:

When: 08 Apr 10 18:05
He did , but he had also won over 7f FTO, so staying 1 mile was less of an issue.

Seyedatti won at the lesser Heath meeting o n the Sat,point being ,its a bit of an ask.
By:

When: 09 Apr 10 08:05
Push his win FTO was totally irrelevant as to staying a mile tho as he was in a totally different class to the opposition.
Henry would have won in a canter from 5 f to any distance you like that day.
Therefore if the FTO race had only been 5f you would have had a doubt About him getting the mile?

Still had plenty of stamina in his pedigree, unlike CC.
