Gutted denied a run then flashed home well unlucky would have won with a run ....c'est la vie thats sprinting in big fields still hurts though

Have to disagree.Backed Waffle myself,however I felt he got a dream run through,had every chance of going by the winner,but couldn't or wouldn't go past.Winner was comfortable winner IMO.

Yeah the camera angle repeated on the BBC from above showed WAFFLE followed DEACON BLUE'S run through, and though
getting close to DB nr the line, DB seemed to pull out a bit more to hold Waffle. That's also how Murtagh described it. |
