after the sucess of laying teolane and together today, i'm on a roll [;)]

chesam stakes I like the godolphin filly, FALLS OF LORNA.  for me she was every bit as impressive
as maybe in her maiden win, but one is 6-4 or shorter and the other is 5-1. that's a
no-brainer. Do you really want to take short odds about maybe when she's unproven
on the ground? not sure she really rates a lay, because she could be a superstar, but
you could say that about the other filly.

in the hardwicke, AWAIT THE DAWN is very difficult to oppose, but if anything can give him
a race, it's probably passion for gold. looks like a race where stakes should be kept to
a minimum, as the favourite is unproven over the trip but if he does stay he'll surely win.

in the golden jubilee there are doubts about delegator participating, because of the ground. I don't
really understand why though, because he's always shown a fairly high knee action. still in his likely
absence, attention turns to ELZAAM.  for me the sprint division has long missed a superstar
and elzaam has the looks and build to step up to the plate. The real worry though, would be the ground.


he has a lovely action on quick ground, but if he fails here I'll be having an even bigger bet on him
for the july cup. I don't really get the plunge on bewitched at all. for me she rates a huge lay, she's
never done it at this sort of level and fillies have a terrible record in this anyway.
