ASCOT - Flat (Updated:15/06/2011 at 08:10:19)
Going

Straight course: Good
Round course: Good - Good to Soft in places
(GoingStick: Standside 9.4, Centre 10, Farside 9.5, Round 8.4
on Wednesday at 08:00)

I think higher reading means faster going, does this mean the draw bias may have reversed on the straight course?

I've tried to judge draw bias's based on going stick readings before at Ascot and found them a poor guide
the Vic cup being a classic example where supposedly the far side had the lowest Going stick reading accross
the track yet those who ran on that side were  the first 3 home.  Why this is so I've no idea.
Your right in saying the higher the number the faster the ground. Good luck.

I agree having looked back, judging by previous stick readings compared to official going the middle of the straight course is riding G/F.

They have come down the middle in the first, the time is fast, so it is probably now G/F at least down the middle.
