Hamden Al Maktoum would not use a jockey if he was as bad as some are making out on here.
He is as capable of riding winners as any other jockey around.

Buddeliea.  Having defended RH on many occasions on here, my comments on your two assertions are as follows...

1. Sheikh Hamdan is very loyal, but probably not for very much longer.

2. This assertion does not stand much scrutiny imo.

Are you one of those that blame the jockey when you back a loser??
Plenty of them around i've noticed.

hes decent from the front. as a jockey in general, he is weak in a finish and in general not very good!

i only lay him, gave up backing him! of course, he'll get winners, but many of the horses he rides are fancied and if they dont have upwards of 2 stone in hand, ol concrete hands will somehow manage to wrestle them to the ground.

all views expressed in this post are my own.Plain

Personally think if Hamden shared your views he would get rid of him.

All jockeys screw up,and he seems to get more stick than most when it happens.

He has been one of the top jockeys for many years now,and something like 15 years working for one of the top owners says it all for me.
