Looking to get an angle on it and so far I can only rule out 3:

Pride and Joy

They're not really laying prices so any thoughts?

This is a VERY serious racehorse indeed. The race it ran in lto will prove to be a VERY good race. Meehans in second was seen as an absolute shoo in that day and I know Godolphin thought theres was a group horse both then and first time out where it was fav for a hot race. M Johnstone also had a very nice horse in there and there was money for ALL of em. Roman Soldier murdered them and was well supported. I can absolutely assure you this horse is a million miles away from a 20/1 shot and with a bit of luck on the day he will prove how good he is. Get on at 20/1, I have and am really looking forward to him running along with Shmoos who is the bacnker of the week ( including the odds ons Frankel and So you Think ) anything bigger than 2/1 is like having your own ATM |

Yeh a bit of minefield, I know any Coolmore animal has to be respected in the Coventry, to me Power looks plenty short enough.
Richard Hannon always has a good one for the Coventry and does have a line through a lot of the runners at the top of the market, that he's plumped for Trumpet Major seems significant, available at tasty double figure odds at present. The first time out yankee runner italo has to be respected for trainer Wesley ward. |

i'm kinda surprised looking down the field that fulbright is trading at such a big price.
showed bags of speed at epsom in the woodcote and really fills the eye this giant of a horse. I would imagine with the rain we've had this could be a real test for two year olds, (even with the fast draining track) and some of the speedier five furlong types might not get home. I seem to remember elzaam not quite getting home last year, and that was on a much quicker surface. watching fulbright at epsom he really had a ding-dong battle up the home straight, before grinding his rival down in the final furlong. can imagine him doing his best work at the finish here. interesting also is that godolphin have purchased commissar, and gabrial should improve for the step up to six. |

i agree with you about Fulbright , but no winner of the woodcotte has been placed in this for 20 yrs !!! I'l defo be backing him ew though

all the speed in this years coventry seems to be with the high draw horses so this is where the winner should come from.... the fav mezmaar is drawn 1 so may find this to hot to handle..i have 12 horses ahead of him on speed figures....i think st barths may spring a surprise in this...he comes out top of those on speed figures drawn high..followed by red aggressor and roman soldier...best of luck...
