big gamble on mezmaar in the coventry

Looked good at Haydock and does look a first day banker

power looking more appealing now at 5/1 imo

Gabrial at 14/1 could be a decent bet in that race and Gatepost looks another good prospect.  Hard to fancy this one too strongly in such a race although he did look impressive

I thought Fahey said Gabrial wasn't running at RA. They were saving him for a race later at Newmarket?

i havent backed a hill's horse for 2 years , i certainly couldnt back him in a race like this !! Can anyone explain how the hell he keeps his job please ??

problem with this race is they'll split into two groups so it'll become
a sprint handicap for two year olds

Drifting like the proverbial barge !!

it will have to be a certainty with  i cant ride a finish on it.

Could do alot worse than backing all 4 Hannon runners in the race..2 on either side all at juicey looking prices..Would rather tug on my balls than back Mezmaar in this race..

the main reason mezmaar is drifting is, i'm guessing but I think because
most of the pace in this race seems to be drawn high.

we'll have an idea after the kings stand if theres any
particular bias with the draw.
