The betting suggests its a 2 horse race, but i would suggest it isn't. Cape blanco put up one of the performances of the year, if not
the performance of the year when slamming Rip van Winkle and Twice Over fair and square in the Irish Champion stakes. If that
race was over a mile he would have still slammed them and Rip van winkle is a good marker horse. Would the 2 fav's have been
able to do this "no". There is a definite possiblity that Cape Blanco will find 1 mile to be his optimum trip. He also looks likely
to get an uncontested lead. Admittedly he is a bit inconsistent but if he turns up on a going day 12/1 could look very big .

No chance, will be swamped by the speedier horses, probably won't run anyway?.
8 declared at 6 day entry including dick turpin, cape blanco,
i know theyve got the aussie horse, and st nick plus a few others but still cant fathom this idea of coolmore,
Hope you got the 12/1 tinkler , top price 7/1 now so good thread mate, seems a little inconsistant for me which is something that cant be said for the top two, but at 12/1 definately worth taking a chance as it has the form in the book.
mrbettor , agree nice price if youre on at 12/1, but cant see how you can say hes got form in the book, this is over 8 furlongs
The horse done all its racing as a two year old over 7 furlongs showing top quality form and at the start of last season before the dante the big question was hes a miler and will he stay the trip ,i agree he didnt run over the trip as a three year old tho and there must be a small concern.
might take the sting out of one but to outstay 1 top class miler and 1 great miler is asking too much,probably wouldnt beat a top form d turpin. anyway a great race to look forward too and good luck
