Didn't see that - cheers.  Would be an interesting runner, albeit with that stable's poor 2000 Guineas shows in recent times.  He seems to have the ability to maintain a  run from a long way out, something I've seen Guineas winners do on a number of occasions.

The Racing Post/Guineas double has been achieved just once in 48 years, by High Top in 1971/72, and many have tried and failed since.

Yes, I'm well aware that the race is no historical pointer to The Guineas, but not very many have tried -  I think only six since High Top?  They've managed only a second and a third.  It was something attempted by Godolphin recently with poor old Ibn Khaldun.  I hope that's not repeated.  Mind you, I might be wrong, but of the last 14 Dewhurst winners to tackle the 2000, haven't only two actually won?  I'd rather take a punt on Casamento as a proven Group 1 performer with a decent trends profile (prep-race aside) than an odds-on shot.

Actually, perhaps only six since the mid-eighties; I'm too young to remember flat racing in the seventies!

10.5 in the w/o market is HUGE imho.

the race is starting to look weak, Casemento on Racing Post Trophy form should he have trained on run into a place and the guineas is a group 1 trial for the Derby.

If he gets close to Frankel and gives him a race its a win win situation for Godolphin to run him.

Crisford is saying on The Post site that he is a likely runner , Frankie , not big nose , to ride ( thought that hooter would have been more aerodynamic ).
