I can only think of one race caller you gets it wrong as many times as Hobbsy, that's the schoolboy on SIS, how does he keep as job. If he is paid minimum wage that's far too much.

No one better on Course at the Track interviewing  than JH IMO

TBF some of these comms are doing long hours , I would imagine any ones brain would go after a while of watching These races day in day out

most punters follow a Certain track or Two and or Opens , watching  6 unknown dogs in Half lap races , is Tedious IMO

looking at your post Time , that was probably the Empty Stadium racing he was doing comms on .. I don't watch any of that

I will say JH does have a habit of Dogs having a Tear up during a race and not noticing it

Lived the dream making a living out sport he obviously loves, good presentator no doubts on that. If you don’t like commentator, mute is handy. I do it regularly on football too.
Btw don’t know the guy never met him.

Unless you are blind why would you be bothered about the comms anyway?

I don't need to be told that "3 leads early and goes a length clear at the first bend".....I have eyes

PGR a Rancid outfit, near impossible to watch on smart tv due to the buffering every 20/30 secs since they put that pointless fastly site software onto the site....throw into the mix races missed completetly, streams pulled a lap early,no comms, comms where they talk over each other, lack of race replays, inability to show a photo finish bang on the line [they usually stop it about 5yrds b4 line]........a joke outfit........all the above basics SIS seem to manage and their stream works fine on  smart tv too.....just a shame 90% of their dog content is garbage

What’s the name of the Irish commentator on SIS who almost sings the commentary?
May have a voice for theatre but not for dogs comms.
He’s terrible and often calls races a lap early.
