plenty regular posters have passed also & sadly most of the younger generation aren't interested
Them daily BAGS thread days are a distant memory and never to return. Like a lot of things now in greyhound racing. Still, we have the memories eh?

Spent countless hours down the old Hackney Wick and then the doomed new track before it all went tits up! Then moved on the Walthamstow and absolutely loved it there
anybody remember the mad dog man was a very good judge on the open races

TSW and sparrow - a brilliant judge and the other knew so much about the sports history.
A story about MDM from here. During the day he said that he had a certainty that evening (Friday) - I was at Romford. I said to my girlfriend 'watch this page, he will put the dog up. If it's at Romford, let me know!'
She never rang, I was double busy and forgot. Got home and she was asleep in the chair, in front of the pc! I woke her, we looked. It won at another track - may have been Wimbledon - i remember the price. 6/1!
It's not until u look back, u realised just how good it all was. But here's the thing. At the time, we said 'Christ this is rubbish compared to 10 year ago!' Now look at it!
Meanwhile, it looks like they closed chit chat down 6 years ago!
