I put the same Question up  Recently on Scene Bairn , Julie has a fan Club ..  Nice to here she is going ok .. Most of the rest are Doing Comms

I did wonder if she was still involved with the Sport .. Not sure what Tony or JK are doing these days

RPTV missed TBH , was a very good format

Agreed, I miss RPGTV hugely as well.
Looking back now we were blessed to have it.

Some of them were terrific, others not so good, imo.  It had become very jaded when it ended.  It is a miss though I agree.  Wonder what “Tina” is doing now?  Laugh

In comparisson to this PGR craic it certainly was Slip , can take half an hour to find out what is causing a Delay , Video not availavble or Video cutting out before the end of the Race are also regular features

We also have the Comms talking over each other to add to the spectacle .........

Jim Reynolds was very good and Paul Lawrence wife were very good, tipped a good few winners through the card every race probably probably broke even or won money and we all know that’s not easy if you’re job means you are compelled to make a pick in every race

There you are.  We all have differing opinions.  The spice of life!  Love.   Had absolutely no time for Paul Lawrence.  That commentary he gave us for Thorn whatever it was Derby final win can’t be unheard. Made a fortune at Crayford.  Ask the old-timers - they’ll tell you how.

Honcho I don’t know the guy I’ve had one brief conversation with him in Derry but I remember his missus tipping a few winners on greyhound tv back in the day.
Maybe she just got lucky night I watched
Jim Reynolds was definitely good, I never had dogs with him but I had friend who had, gone now unfortunately, but he told me great man with hound.

I especially liked Simon Harris when he was on as remote guest.

The former racing manager @ Wimbledon in those boom times when the crowds at Derby night were 10,000 plus.

I believe his wife was once R.M. at Crayford.
He used to post on here.  Was on the rgptv with an acquaintance of mine.  They both got the same train home having shared three hours on the show, exchanging chat, opinion, stories etc.  He pointedly ignored him completely. All the way home.  Lovely bloke.  Absolutely slated Towcester on rpgtv then took the gig commentating on their racing.  Laugh
