But at least it’s been replaced (unlike Hall Green and so many others)
I’ve watched plenty of the trials and obviously they are 3 dog affairs but they do seem to be running the bends well.
Modest fare today, but I hope it goes well.

Very little Trouble in races all dogs sound , Honestly thought Traps Could have been further back But Not the case on what we seen the Morning
Very positive start for them , g luck to them Going forward ,I believe they have taken the Notts friday evening spot get a few opens round there could be plenty of interest |

side on camera angle not interested traps are nowhere near the 4th bend & could easily be pushed back 10-15m likewise with the winning line its nowhere near the 1st bend & could be pushed forward 5-10m to make it 500m both the last 2 points are against punters gl anyone playing here I won't be |

A small sample size after opening day but the amount of early pace frontrunners winning is obvious. Whether the track shortened run ups or finishes is a factor time will tell. More races tonight will give us a pattern but i suspect it may be more of the same.

Looks like a speed track so far, ironically more like just up the road Monmore than Perry Barr
Having said that though at Monmore you have to properly get the 480 or you get caught out. Early days of course but that’s what I’m seeing, when you have more sweeping bends the dogs get little opportunity to get a second wind so to speak therefore truly staying whatever the distance is still a necessity Cheers |

there isn't the same roll to the rail like @ towc
track configuration looks ok to me dogs seem to have been graded on trial times & PB grades ignored so that will take time to settle down clearly with the side on camera view & the short run up its designed primarily for bags |

I went last night, place immaculate.
They put on a very nice buffet for owners I think the only mistake so far is some of the grading, it was never minus 20 in the first batch of trials (said so at the time) but they are sort of stuck with that now and it will take a while for it all to filter out Traps are like Romford, so some dogs are taking a while to get used to them Not a place to have a flutter at the moment Give it a month and all these things should have settled and we will all have a more accurate idea of what to look for if looking for a bet All the best |

Comes across well on the tv. Dogs look like they are running the track well especially the bends. Be ideal if they could find room to get a 500m trip but this could be against bookmaker wishes (no surprise there). The times they are doing over the 480 means I cant see the derby going there any time soon.

What angle is the Camera at because the Litte box on the Near Side is Just prior to this Pic

Thats the closest I can get to 4 Being in front of 1. Is that before the Line on the Line after the Line

2025 we cannot project a Winning line on to a dog track , Why ? its pathetic , im not saying its the Wrong result , Its Just totally wrong for this sport that we have optical illusions Being Streamed , MOVE THE CAMERA The new premier track , Wait till the Big meets start if that Video angle is the best available ,this Game is finnished Watch the race on RP . Why does the Derby have to be over 500 metres?
1) It was 480 at Wimbledon for many years 2) I never understand why the Irish Derby is when overwhelmingly Irish four bend races are over the 480 (525 yards) Anyway, open racing tonight As I’ve said Traps are Romford Style, so if you haven’t had a trial at Dunstall or raced at Romford you might get caught out even if you are the best dog in the race . I will be backing a few of the local runners, as usual to modest stakes nowadays All the best |

derby doesn't have to be 500 but that run to the bend from the 480 is too short
given how they've designed the track means it would have to be 500 @ DP to have a decent run up |

7.02 Dunstall park. Trap 1 wins by a neck and they give it to trap 6. Clear as daylight trap 1 won. Fraud track, even dodgier staff!!!

They need to move the Camera its pointless watching a race ,at no point does 6 appear to hit the front till 5 yards after the line ON THE VIDEO
