Just watched a race at Monmore on the ATR site and a good battle round the last bend so the camera blots it out with some dogs walking round at another track. Bunch of idiots running this show.

Every dog I used to back should appear on the Channel 5 programme Dogs Behaving Very Badly.

cant speak for others but far too much racing, 415 red button channel is sh1t (no record facility just incredible imo), arc track videos not available, greyhounds today site down regularly, RP site displaying inaccurate info, cant get a PDF racecard some tracks
and that's just for stay at home punter never mind on track, owners etc |

The 415 "service" is absolute pony, and the tracks now shown on RTV are of no interest to me whatsoever . I've practically given up betting on dogs now and my main interest, namely trap challenges, are not viable to me now either so I've completely stopped doing them after 40 years.
So that leaves me with going to the top competitions at Crayford and I'll start going to Hove again as well for their category ones every now and then. The Saturday afternoon meetings at Crayford are going to be a regular thing for me now going to the track which I'm pleased about. Not graded only though obviously. |

I personally feel it is being run into the ground on purpose.....those in charge want greyhound racing and horse racing gone

It probably is being run into the ground on purpose. But what would make it better?
Less racing Better access to videos and form The big question is: Can the sport be revived? |
By:
form and videos have never been more available for free....less racing is a no brainer...for all but the bookmakers...
By:
Poor coverage in the papers .
By:
but free videos and race cards from most tracks and unlimited form on line......
By:
I’m talking about daily newspapers like the mail the star the express and the mirror very poor coverage
By:
Basic race cards
By:
Online doesn’t reach out to everybody
By:
OK but that form was always poor in the good old days.....not sure how bus timetables would encourage people to go racing...it is totally different class now to what we was paying for the videos and decent cards were life or post ahead of the race day......

all tracks should be racing fri or sat night or both
mon-thurs 2 morning 2 afternoon 3 evening is ample, extra meeting(s) fri-sun is arguable forget about newspapers they are done there needs to be big social media presence + tech needs to be up to date, accessible etc red button coverage on 415 & no TV coverage of the sport's flagship event bar final night...there are no words to describe how much of a sh1tshow this is |
