If you select 415 Channel  you get the horse racing

So you then press the red button and get the new PGR channel

But if you press the record button on remote nothing happens?

I tried recording channel 415 and then pressing the red button but this just records the horse racing on 415

Any ideas please how you can record the dogs via sky Q?

I see Romford is on 415 now

But if you press the red button, naturally Romford is on via that method too

But the picture quality is much worse on via the red button vs 415

Is it only standard definition on red button and HD on 415 only?

Looks that way R.A. I just watched the last at Monmore and the quality was very poor indeed and it put me right off really. I fully retract my "superb" comment from last night b.t.w.

Hobbs was the commentator and I reckon he must be bored out of his mind doing this graded pap to an audience of not very many.

LOL
O dear

You can’t see the dogs in the race because of the preview of the dogs walking in the next at Central Park

I think that needs a slight rethink Laugh

SportyStuff TV and Spotlight Sports Group end association

AFTER a successful 12-year association, January 1 will bring to an end the arrangement between Racing Post and SportyStuffTV, with Racing Post no longer the brand sponsor for Greyhound TV.

The free-to-view platform began as Racing Post Greyhound TV in December 2011, owned by six of the UK and Ireland’s leading bookmaker groups, with the first show on the Sky EPG going out on December 9.

SportyStuffTV’s channel and website was launched on February 1st, 2021 and the multi-sport broadcaster has covered South African and US horse racing, boxing, pool, snooker and darts as well as the daily greyhound racing show.

Sam Houlding, Chief Commercial Officer for Spotlight Sports Group [Racing Post] said: "Racing Post Greyhound TV returned live greyhound racing to homes across UK and Ireland, the platform has been a huge success for all involved through it's broadcasting of all the major competitions including the English Greyhound Derby.

"We wish SportyStuffTV the best of luck going forward and give thanks to Kevan Moretti [CEO] and his team."

Clive Lawrence, Executive Producer for SportyStuffTV said: “I would like to thank the Racing Post for their support of the GTV project over the last 12 years, the programme blossomed from the original format of three evenings to the ten shows-a-week that we now produce.

"The Racing Post team have always endeavoured to promote the racing shown and, more recently, the other sports broadcast on SportyStuffTV.

"The biggest challenge now facing the GTV presentation team is not to say 'RPGTV' as the programme has become colloquially known!"

Mahalia, trained by Jeanette McNicholas, was the first winner on RPGTV when landing a Sunderland handicap on December 9, 2011.

That Sunderland graded meeting ran alongside an all-open 13-race card from Romford featuring Essex Vase semis won by Westmead Maldini, the eventual champion, Hugo You Go and Aero Majestic.

There have been many schedule changes over the years with Kinsley and Valley the only GBGB tracks currently operational not to have been shown. Closed venues Belle Vue, Coventry, Peterborough, Poole, Shawfield and Wimbledon all featured.

While it’s good to see the races

All the screen taking up by names, trap stats and that predictor will put new viewers off

It’s too boring, need to have a central studio and at least one presenter and preferably two talking about the dogs and each race

Just went to the ATR site to watch a race at Sheffield and after the race started we lost some of the picture to watch dogs walking round at another track!  What is the matter with these people and what on earth are they playing at?

If this is the future of Greyhound Racing as Lord Lipsey has promised the sport will die even more prematurely than I thought. (notRP)GTV may have had its faults but this stream makes GTV look great. Bland analysis if any, three meetings badly spaced out and stats you need sunglasses for. Meanwhile in further 'progess' Entain stop taking bets at SIS tracks.

Disappointing to find that the form on the racing post site does not now include replays from previous form. The attheraces sky greyhound form is the same. I found this a good asset in assessing races.
