What I love about revisiting these clips isn’t JUST about the dog (despite him being such an enigma).
It’s hearing the crowds as he starts to move through the gears. Compare those scenes to today’s images of tumbleweed rolling majestically across the terraces… |

Yes aladdin and you can hear some punters virtually screaming as the dog made his ground. Sometimes we forget about that atmosphere there once was at the tracks.
