Scaglietti, a leading contender for the recent **** Irish Derby – 29.26, 29.26, 29.27 – until eliminated in the fourth round, is to join trainer **** having been sold in the Greyhoundtrader on-line auction for £45,100. He is a 66-1 chance for the 2024 English Derby.Plain

Crayford Saturday mornings going to be even more fun! But will it be Scaglietti v Lenson Doolin or Laughil Jess?

Ricky and Roger  bought him  , it now makes sense

Kent Derby  The Olympic , the Eclipse possible Targets for rest of the year

All being well they will probably breed with him, G luck to them

Just could not understand Why someone would pay 45k bring the dog over here  and Put with Ricky for a Derby Tilt

Me neither Case. Even if they won those three comps they wouldn't get their money back

Sounds like Rick was involved in an Incident  on the M2 where the Van broke Down  at 70 MPH ,both him and the dog are lucky to be alive ..
Another Van had to turn up,Adding 4 hours to the Journey,Scag will be a lot better next time out by all accounts ..

Would anyone not think that on Rick informing the track of what had happened ,that there may have been a Suggestion to Withdraw the dog ?

the same owner/trainer paid 9k for Chisem Lad who runs in the 20.07 open at crayford tonight....was the fastest time at the last crayford sales clocking 23.32 from a 3.60 split.....had two runs and two seconds....

Chisem Lad 0 from 4....7/2 to break the duck in the next at crayford....not showing anything like the sales speed....not a difficult race but not for me....
By:
Winja
When: 07 Jul 24 18:45
was 6.27 on here....slow away....no pace up but that gave the kennelmate a dream run and he won at 60/1......
