When you think of all the superior tracks lost in the past 30 years yet Crayford still goes on.
Everyone of those defunct tracks were considerably safer than the Kent track.
Even with 3 & 4 dog races there seems to be terrible trouble at the turns.
Obviously I know the answer as despite Crayford currently being on life support the bookmakers are happy to prop up a gaff where the 4 and 6 bend races are nothing more than animated roulette.

before the entain take over crayford was the most punted track in the country.....largest turnover by some margin......

going back 10-15 years now at least when shows were from tracks & before technology caught up but crayford defo had some interesting shows to say the least
