There was a heavy downpour just before the first race, Donaldson said there's a short delay whilst puddles were mopped up but the meeting was declared shortly after without a race run.

Thanks, slippy.  It doesn't take much these days for them to call off meetings. I was playing at Sheffield tonight which is about the only track I really like nowadays.

just before they pulled the plug around 50% of the dogs had been withdrawn by the trainers so it was probably the only option.......

Don't moan at the right choice

Dozens and dozens of grass roots people involved in the game for a living, with all the lost time, effort and expense put in to bringing their dogs in for racing, so we or anyone can enjoy their recreation and betting aspirations, and someone crows about it. 

I don't understand your post honcho. Who are you blaming for the continuing disruption to the Towcester meetings?
