I have a lot of time for Jim Cremin who I once exchanged views with by email but unfortunately the game is now totally controlled by the bookmakers who only care about their own agenda. Some of the cards being served up now with all these two bend so called "races" are just a disgrace and those responsible should be ashamed of themselves. The only sensible way forward would have been to have gone back to eight race cards with some degree of variety but it's all probably too late now.

the early starts and lack of evening meetings is why i no longer own greyhounds after being an owner for over 25 years so how many are like me......if it wasnt for the punting i would be lost to the sport...

Jim Cremin calling it as it really is once again. He's an outstanding voice in a sea of indifference and lack of understanding amongst the powers in charge of the sport.
You can follow him on Twitter if that's your thing and also Dani Jackson who is an excellent ambassador as well. @JimCreminRP @DaniVJackson |
