Just out of interest I did a count of dog ages scheduled to run yesterday.
There were 71 set to go at both tracks.
Swindon: 6 were 2021 whelps 26 were between 2 and 3 years 27 were 3+ years 10 were 4+ years and 2 were 5+ years old.
Hove: 10 were 2021 whelps 36 were between 2 and 3 years 22 were 3+ years 3 were 4 = years and 0 were 5+ years
So, Swindon have a lot more older dogs.

I'll take your word for it. This was a one meeting sample and no dog was hurt in doing it.
