Must be the poorest managed track in the country, if they aren't late then everything is breaking down.....absolute joke management

This idiot bf commentator just identified the Mullingar runners, race and outcome as the forthcoming Towcester.

I'm with Lautaro here.  Not the brightest but for me the fastest.

Well done L.H. Ran very well there to get ahead when it mattered and a nice BSP of 3.15.
I don't bet there ever but I still do watch certain races.

Many thanks.  It looked a two-dogger and Lautaro, having a brain, would won the previous one against the 2.  I banked on him boxing a shade better from one wider box - from 2 last time into 3 here.  Decent price.

While we're on do you think Liz and Rab at last have a dog that can bring home the Derby.
Fromposttopillar.
He looks the REAL deal to me - terrific early AND stays all day!
Need to see how he handles Towcs.  Only one sprint trial when a raw newcomer so no info. there.

From what I've seen it's a tremendously talented dog so anything is possible but, as I mentioned, Towcester is simply not for me at all and as far as the Derby is concerned I'm never going to be involved from a punting perspective as long as it remains there.

Many don't Watch any more Michael , Not sure we have said too Much  About Tow on here  Tbh , I have have said Harlow a Desperate replacement for CP  ,Which it is

Dreadful Racing tonight Round there . They certainly have Enough Problems at Tow  , I don't remember such Issues back in the Day at Wimbledon or Whitecity Wembley

Anywhere for that Matter ...  Many gone from this Game Michael  and More losing Interest  , Summat is Wrong Mate  ,Tracks owning the Dogs dont help

I watch  Wed Ian is On catch up on the Irish, Mix it with Yar ,Friday  and Sunday ,Or was watching RP those nights , Of course if Opens on I watch  ..

Oxford Not bad worth a watch ,Its all about Opinions ..

case, i go racing weekly,  yes its moved on from the halcyon days of the 70s/ 80s , and yes i agree with you far too much racing fodder to feed the greed of the bookmakers , but there is still gems to behold if you look deep enough. im not a lover of the presenters of RPGTV but their pictures are a blessing . theres no better sight of seeing 6 hounds racing the thrill still is with me

Haven't watched rpgtv for three years or so until the other day when I looked in to see how far behind bf their vids. were.  Still well behind.  Was absolutely stunned to see JK even fatter than before!  What a size he is.

It’s interesting people say too much racing but I am not sure

I would say a lot of the kennel strengths will have more dogs than say 10 to 20 years ago.

It would be interesting to get a comparison of the number of races per week

1 normal week in 2023
2 week in 2018
3 week in 2013
4 week in 2008
5 week in 2003

I would be very surprised if much more races

I guess somehow would need the approx number of racing dogs as well though?

If a dog if fit and does not suffer from a reoccurring injury then any dog should be able to run 5 races per month and most can run 6 or  7 races per month.

Liz and Rab have produced another able looking pup - Havana Top Note.  Won today at Central.  Mod.away, pace up back, inside at bend and past leader on the inner with no hesitation , ran on.  Didn't beat anything of note but it did it well and can improve.  I wonder how many they;ve got still to show us?
