Hove 12:39 another prime example... what are these trainers still doing having a licence..
By:
Three runners in a race is a joke situation. One runner per kennel only, if that means far less racing then so be it.

Yeah iv seen it alot at Towcester , however as a punter you just need to punt the dog again which will be an even bigger price the next time ;) . Iv definitely learnt with punting its not about losing one race , it's about the long term. You know exactly which dogs will win , just need to stick to the same wager and punt at 3/1 or more. I.e one £25 loss at 3/1 , the next £25 punt on the same dog at 3/1 a week later wins and you've punted £50 for a £75 profit (£125 return in total). Seems to work a treat for myself.

One dog for example is Celine , lost at 7/2 in an easy race , came back out a few days later and won easily at 9/1 . Easy money to be made.

Fav in last Romford, a fooking disgrace and not a word, as usual, sadly this game is a stinking rancid mess of filth
By:
Why would you back a greyhound that has won twice in a row already?
By:
Maybe because you thought it would win?
By:
PY kennel strikes again at Romford. time they revoked a few licenses, would soon stop the practice.

Trap 1 11:09 Crayford.. pure fraud all over the place
By:
did he not get spiked third bend....
By:
was that after coming out and showing the pace of a dog that couldnt grade on..?
By:
Whats gets me as these trainers are supposed to be professionals, and yet they cannot get their dogs to run with any consistency at all.
By:
what gets me.. is that should read.
By:
Romford 11.46. laughable scenes.. t5 cannot on any known form run like that... do they not check the ear markings anymore?
By:
Afton Pixie first at Donny, watch the race the week before and work out how it runs like that today? The more races watched the more you realise trainers in this sport are pure amateurs
By:
switch this is not a snide comment....but you should take a break stop watching races and give yourself some distance from everything to do with greyhound racing including this forum........start watching videos again when you can reapproach with a clean mindset.......thats friendly advice from someone who has been doing the same thing for.... i imagine...a lot longer.....cheers..

Winja, i have not had a bet for a long time on the cherries over here. As such I am watching more closely than ever as the sport needs saving from itself. Have a look at the seasoned punters commenting on whats going on in the game.

you have laid out £50.......you get bach in £25 at 3/1.....returns £100 that is a £50 profit in my book.......i could be wrong, but i dont think i am |
By:
The sport had a great few years where it was clean and form meant something. I think starship mentioned on the thread around his Crayford punting that you just cant trust dogs to run the same races or anything like it run to run. Sadly there doesnt appear to be an innocent explanation.?
By:
i did not mention betting on purpose....its none of my business....but if you are only looking for the negative thats all you are going to see......if you want to bet on greyhounds then you have to take the 5hit in your stride and find the positives......it just seems you are only doing the former to such an extent thats all you will see but there are still players earning from backing so the game is still viable....
By:
Winja i appreciate that, it just really does seem that this racing overkill is leading to far more questionable results and dogs not giving their running. Perhaps its the fact i am not punting that is making things easier to spot etc. Guess it will never go back to the first years of when this exchange started...
By:
where money is involved skulduggery will follow and the same things you are seeing now were happening then it just wasn't so public......
By:
Understand Winja, just a pity as the sport with still plenty of good people in it could become big again. Its crazily well supported down under with funding and prize money to match. Be lucky anyway.
By:
switch,i have read a lot of your comments but this time i just need to comment on them, that afton pixie at doncaster are u really saying thats a non trier,u need to understand how a dog runs,it is a fast trapper can get done for pace to corner if something inside it, if it holds its pitch it runs on strong from 3rd bend, the race yesterday couldnt hold trap 1 early and gets knocked back losing about 3 length than runs on again, theres countless other you have mentioned all the same sort of stuff.sctatching y head half the time reading these comments.
By:
have her 14 wks ssn 2nd quickish run back from rest...bounced big time
By:
afton pixie
By:
garryc.. im guessing you dont watch the videos..? Are you talking about the Bondi dog it couldnt hold to the bend yesterday? the same bondi dog it led by 5 lengths at the corner the week before! Pixie was completely devoid of any pace at any stage yesterday, the drift on here was for a reason.....
By:
Winja is correct about where money about, thing is its so blatant now its a joke, we all see it going on yet never a word, but im not suprised, too many cowards in the media
By:
thats my point Depford, we all see it, the video players, the track regulars, seasoned greyhound punters etc, but for some reason its never called out. Draw own conclusions as to why that is..
By:
By:
will agree to disagree gary, maybe you will lay me evens that pixie leads bondi to the bend if we can arrange a match race..?
By:
switch, greyhound racing is all about opinions, your opinions only worth what you make, good luck
By:
all the best to you too. It definitely is a game of opinions.
By:
when is the final
By:
By:
be interesting to see how Pixie runs tonight, couldnt touch it with stolen after its last run, even allowing for the lack of pace inside it tonight.
By:
holds a pitch runs on from 3rd bend, wins a lot of races pixie.
By:
couldnt fail to hold pitch with the two drawn inside it.
