With dinosaurs like this on the forum no wonder Greyhound racing is going down the pan

I know he's about 90 and will probably die soon but he is part of the reason why this forum has lost so many good posters. Used to be the best forum on here now it's tumbleweed

I only watched it for a short time but thought the lady was doing a good job.

she comes across rearly good very good at commentarys get rid of julie been on there years and still cant do a commentary any good

Dani Jackson is absolutely top drawer, she's a first class presenter, race caller and pundit. She has been the senior caller at Hills for many years so is vastly experienced.

Compared to say the likes of Kaan Hughes, Jay Kay, Darrel Williams, Dave Clark, Harkness etc, she makes them look like selling platers.

Brilliant Commentator, best about IMO....

Absolutely nothing wrong with Kaan, I have listened to him many times and his analysis in most cases is spot on, not only that but he has actually worked in a greyhound racing yard.

Having said all that, Dani is also very good

I think his yard work was what may have upset a few People Frank  .. There has been much discussion about it Elsewhere

Her commentaries are very good, apart from that she’s absolutely bloody awful

Knows ZERO about event current trainers/owners/breeders nor even the recent highlights of the sport, nor even at least a smidgen of its history

She should have mugged up on this prior to becoming a presenter; sorry but she’s hopeless

There has case, and it doesn't make for good reading either to say the least.

I rarely listen to the RPGTV sound now anyway !
But I just thought I would tune in for once
...and I couldn't understand the pair of them...

Just look at this thread. So many great posters from yesteryear. Where did it all go wrong?

i think nearly every poster on here over the years has bemoaned the way the game has gone downhill

the betfair greyhound forum can hardly be blamed for a social tendency


all we will have left is great memories of great races and a great pleasure to have been involved as an owner , an enthusiast and a punter.

Well ,We have the Leger staring Thursday at Perry Barr, a brilliant track , and A cracking Irish Derby going on , We should be ok for another Few Weeks
