Great to see this track reopen.
As I recall it was a bad track to run without a trial or for very wide running dogs.
The combination of the two meant even a top paced dog could end up tailed off at a short price.
Also when it rained and the track got very wet it went inside instead of the usual outside.
Obviously wides can win graded races there but they are usually 4 grades better at other tracks.
Back in the day they could get anything beat there so could be a layers delight.

I just saw some photos on Twitter Deptford, someone there posting them and looks a lively crowd. Not completely packed but busy enough.

Three books from what I could see, Star Sports and I think Nigel Flowers but not certain of the latter.

Kevin Hutton is posting photos now, it's much busier than I thought.

All the meetings should be 8 races as was the norm when people went Greyhound Racing in their thousands.
