Can’t believe this dog not been put in ST LEGER at Perry Barr IMO no ambition from the trainer it’s ****g CRIMINAL rather run it in a1 or pony opens where it goes off 1-2 jolly This dog no world beater but long run to corner it love and it’s got gears Tonight got hooked up but was way too good for them It beat space Jet few weeks back I know in match it wouldn’t beat it But six dog racing another matter Space Jet probably going to be second in for leger Thursday Why have nice type waste it’s shaking my head Rant over
Understand your take on this but the answer is its probably just not economically viable. Our syndicate had a dog win first 3 rounds of the derby and including trialing before hand & race expenses we made no money. Personally I would want to give each greyhound I owned a chance to win a comp if they had the ability but commercially it makes no sense.

backatrier I've been saying that for long and weary about the Derby. There should be better returns for owners of qualifiers, particularly heat winners, in the early stages and it STILL needs looked at. I'm not holding my breath though.
