I've said it before and it's worth saying again. What a brilliant dog this has been for connections. Been on the go now, virtually non-stop, for 18 months now and simply never runs a bad race, and always in very, very good company.
Yes, I missed the recent break but that takes little away from the dog. An owners dream - rarely anything but fit, hugely reliable and consistent, and right up there with very good open class.

Laid the t4 dog in the first stayers race as it’s a short run to the bend. Missed the start of the race
Laid the t6 dog in the second stayers race as it’s a short run to the bend. Missed the start of the race

I watched that race but never had sixpence on. When he came late and wide to swoop past I just thought to myself, what a twit I am. Or words to that effect.

I know that feeling too. Never even had a tenner on him. One he beat could well win tonight - Nightingale Don in the 8.52. Looks like he's been bet a bit on 365 but you can never really tell. Do bookies ever mislead us poor punters? I think the track suits him - his sprint trial was as good as several that day.
