The way this hound runs these two tracks tells you all the need to know about Towcester track
Afraid the owners must be livid that the derby will probably be at Towcester next year
Need to dig the track up including the hare rail and start again, it’s a total disaster for dogs that can’t lead by the first bend
Towcester manages to make Trumps Benefit look like an average open racer and Thorn Falcon look like a superstar
You could not make it up if you tried

Falcon never raced out of four had one look at hove it had terrible draw
To be honest he’s the derby winner to be rolled out What 3 weeks later is insane Should of gone Shelbourne IMO Two looks than Irish derby But our trainers don’t do it |

got to agree about towcester,it is like the twilight zone,very strange track,the racing there is terrible to watch.

Towcester is basically an oversized Romford, if you don’t come out of the second bend in the first two then 99% of times you can throw your ticket away
Mind you the cockerneys love Romford too, gawd only knows why, mind you Ray Bourne has never had a losing night at Romford of course….. As for Trumps Benefit he’s obviously still learning his trade, a very strong dog who’s future at the very highest level surely lies over 6 bends? |

You can tell that by the number of cat 1 comps, derby’s oaks st legers he’s won as the owner I heard the last day he lost punting was when he had a 10 grand straight forecast curryhills gara to beat mossy more at hackney in 1980’s  |
