been told bockos doomie broke its leg very sad

I disagree they can’t win from that position.. but to be fair it was the same at Notts, the same at Wimbledon bar Hawk... the game has become more and more about speed and as such with a lack of strong runners in these events.. the finals become a bingo break comp.

Switch nearly half the winners at the don were not early pace dogs ?
|

Infact looking at the winners I would say more than half , The first derby there was won by a former s2 grader

Sorry case.. I was referring to where dogs turned in the final etc. The point I was trying to make is that the game has definitely turned more towards speed and that makes for non interesting finals at times..

Its a terrible shame. A dog with a huge presence and an aura about him that u wouldnt believe unless u knew him. Had that swagger that the great dogs have. He knew he was good. He will be sadly missed by all at the kennel and of course his owners. Dogs like him are nigh on impossible to replace. R.i.p. ted.

the faster the dogs the less margin for error
dont see any derby final winner coming from off the back any time soon even big tracks now except for graded races where some dogs just stop when they hit the front |
