Ive seen some poor prices about dogs lately.. but who/what/where/why made that an even money poke...

I reckon the blatant inside bias over the past few meetings might be the answer.

Same at nearly every track at mo.. if they are going to bet on that basis though, surely best to be on the dog with the best early in the race....
