I watched the trial mate. Mate in manchester sent 2 still picks. Slight stumble my bollox. She did her best ostrich impression. Head buried in the sand. I was of the impression she would av won trial if she didnt stumble and aoife did 34.80. Thought very good effort to get beat 3 an a half doc by a good yardstick.

Was watching a couple of tracks in Aus the other day. Only a 300m trip, but just straight line racing. Fastest dog.. job done. Great fun.

Only worry about time when doing it... so they say. I’ve never believed the times they come up with on these big nights, or the going alllowances.. they make them up half the time imo to put punters away.
I remember betting Romeo a couple of times when drawn4/5 at CP. showed all kinds of pace behind some reasonable dogs, but was mad for draw nearer the fence. Think the ping on Friday was made to look better with 1 just missing . That poxy 575 trip throws up mad results time and time again, look at Puma etc. Every big comp should be 16’s the field lol.
Its another case of the unnamed rag. The times we have seen it happen on here over the past decade.
Look at the Derby results, backing the outsider of the field, especially on here is profitable.
The question you have to ask is why ?
Dogs burnt out by the time they reach the final ?
Trainers keeping a little bit up their sleeve ?
Prices too big because we feel dog was in poor form
Or just not good enough ?
Id be interested to know some of the views on here
