Hi irish ,I am good ,we do go back a long way ,ups and downs like any marriage. I am worried that I am actually losing interest in the game ,Arc really pee me off, handicaps with slow traps and being given the green light, because they do not want to lose revenue, bottom line merchants in my opinion , not interested in anything else, see they run a race at Chepstow the other day in the dark. Not had a bet for a while ,just not interested, and that's not me, I wonder if anyone else feels the same. Hope you are too well, and still cleaning up on those big price outsiders.

I agree, people like Irish just clog the place up with crap. I suppose every forum has got one, over the Greyhound scene you’ve got the vile anti Marshi that is doing his best to bring the game down, just cause he is banned himself.

The trials for the Derby was always a great morning.Aalways an electric atmosphere of anticipation.The varios newspaper tipsters and the judges with thier stop watches clocking them to the first and third bend.The bookmakers gathering information and forming opinions,in them days you had 29 seconds orl less no videos then.Billy Mahon the south london bookie made a big ante post book.Chocolates,who bet at Park Royal and was with Obie Dyer at Harringay used to bet on the trials and nearly always drew.Graet dog man.There was a bigger crowd at the derby trials than when Iwent to Walthamstowon a Bank Holiday last year to say goodbye to the place.

Sure here has been some good ones but I’m on about Czechbet, don’t think he has left here just maybe looking for a bit more social as this forum has been in lockdown for a few years. He looks outside the box rather than the vid watchers that are all looking at the same thing.
He does fc and tc and is massive on the ground.....very entertaining reading his thoughts and selections on the notoriously hard Yarmouth on Wednesday.

everyone knows the score yes i'm all about the ground, fc tc 'Exotics' as we will start calling them now , vidoes sotfware stats etc yep the lot there isnt anything i don't actually do.. just perhaps i do things in different orders of importance, its not rocket science this game anyone with the right mindset imo can do it.

as 'wonders' mentions none of us can really put up bets anymore especially too far in advanced

After meeting czech a number of years ago at doggy boys xmas do and on several occasions sinse after spending time in his company i would say i,m an infinitly better gambler for meeting him. Thats a fact. I also include patrick starr an p.f. who i now consider to be good friends and enjoy there company. In my very humble opinion some of the lads i met on here would be some of the best greyhound bettors anywhere.
