Can i ask how your own ratings came to have Trap 5 as your selection ? Trap 5 (heading towards 4 years old) was having his first non-sprint race for 9 months and that was back at Belle Vue - so for the last 9 months (since moving from Belle Vue to Henlow) it had only ever run sprints at Henlow and had never even run in a 460m race at Henlow ever. Even his best recent trial time of 28.21 was slower than most of the other dogs have been running
Market was pretty much as identified in Post and Timeform slections 6 .. 2/1f 3 .. 10/3 2 .. 4/1 1 .. 4/1 5 .. 5/1 4.. 6/1
Fair play for putting your selection up in advance ... but with the above, plus the fact that T5 had the slowest break time in the race i'm GENUINELY interested to know what it was you saw in T5 to make it your best rated.
I'm always interested to learn how others rate a race

They're calculated as class rating - so using the comparisons of all 3 usually structures the market. I did mean RP Selection - sorry it may have been late.
Trap 5 suprised me on the forumla I used when it came out on top, if it was on achieved rating on recent form then 1 & 6 was the top two - but many other factors detered why 5 came out on top.
The last at Newcastle i Have done this race and my tricast has come out as 2-6-4.
Timeform 6-2-3 & RP 2-1-3
So from that Trap 5 should be the rank outsider, 2 should be the strongest in the market from 6 & 3
So 1 is too short (which is the outsider on my rating / odds)
