Stand there and watch your value disappear |

I can't think anyone concerned with "value" would ever bet with the tote, irish.

it really is great to see all these old photos, especially White City, I was rummaging through some old memorabilia and found a page from the 1983 derby semi-finals with the photos of the dogs coming out the traps, winning line fist time round, first bend and then the winning line, at the first bend, Game Ball is a length in front of Haymaker Mack but Debbycot Lad pushed it out and it lost it's position dropped to 4th and didn't qualify, Game Ball winning by a length from Debbycot Lad. in the second semi-final I'm Slippy led 1st to the line but was collard by strong finishing Amazing Man. also found a 1983 Greyhound Owner, and i've got 2 copies of the very last Sporting Life, it is great to see these again, cheers.

I was at the final sparrow, got the bus down and the train back next day, had bet I'm Slippy ante-post, thought it got beat from where I was sitting, what a relief and great feeling when the result was announced, it actually wasn't as close as it looked. I'll certainly look up the semi's, thanks again. cheers.
