This happened to me one night at Harringay True story

I think it was about the 3rd race the race had been run I was standing next to one of the bins when after about 5 to 10 min later they said the 3rd race was void

My hands went in the bin like a rocket and I grab all the tickets that I could and all the ones around it.

Found a spot and went through the tickets putting all the 3rd race ones to one side needless to say it added up to a nice few shillings which to me was badly needed at the time.
