Thanks eyeball, but it's so strange to me seeing those empty stands on the far side where I stood every week in the 60s amongst thousands of others for just a normal meeting.

Was my local track , lived round the corner . Loved it but was falling to bits . Started going mid seventies until the last meeting . We were spoilt for racing in those days .

Yes I remember them right on the bend mad.dog, I rarely missed Mondays and Fridays and sometimes the afternoon Bank Holiday meetings in between morning and evening at Clapton. At that time I would often be stood with Alfie Stokes the Spurs player who was a regular punter there.
