Gary Selby always used to do the American Racing on ATR every Sunday years ago. Great fun and very entertaining.

i suppose its the reverse of what you do dr....if you made the dog 15/8 would you want to lay 5/1.....especially if you can see people in the ring who may back it......where it ends up is a different matter but i would not blame them to open with caution....

Shouldnt get it both ways.

Wont be happy to be arbed against.
But will happily happily pay you a 1/3rd of the true price if it suits.

its nothing to do with arbing....when they open they presume, as do we, that every dog is there doing its best.....if that is the premise and you make a dog 15/8......there is no way any sound thinking person would open at 5/1........if during the betting window it becomes obvious from exchanges that dog has no support then it will drift........how is that getting it both ways?.......track bookmakers are not massive companies......in fact if they were silly enough to open it too large they would be accused of corruption when the dog subsequently runs like a drain....

Until the off time they were betting 140% on an open.

Is that acceptable and fair practice?

The dog has not Lifted a Leg FFS drifted Like a barge , Someone Knew , OWNER OR TRAINER should be looking into why

and the dog should have been looked at post Race ,We had enough of Simular runs Round the don where dogs had been

Nailed , THE BBC were involved in that Because it was let Happen ..

AS STATED SOMEONE KNEW ,its not acceptable ....... No one says F.A anymore ,call it as it is FFS ......

I am not suggesting connections directly involved but someone some where Knew , if it were My dog I would want to know ..

What was going on with Hatfield Eileen (T3, 12:46 at Sitters today).
Opened 14/1 on track, but never bigger than 7 on Betfair. Eventually bet down to 4.3 on Betfair and 3/1.
Oh what a gamble they would say because of 14/1 to 3/1 but 14s was a false show.
That truly was a sight to behold.

PS. She came last!
