Quite often you see comments in the Racing Post such as "will be full of confidence after recent win"

Now i can quite easily see why a dog would lack confidence if it was baulked or bumped in its recent races. but i've always had my doubts about whether winning actually really boosts a dog's confidence.

Anyone else have a view ? ... either way

It is not so much about a dog winning but being in front and '' on the bunny '' whereas an habitual loser can sometimes not be near the bunny for many races.
