The restaurant at catford and the knob in it
Such a class ridden society in the UK

Catford Shocked .......it was Clapton Stadium home of 5 derby winners in the 1960s.

woody had the treble in 1966.....faithful hope for the derby......england for the world cup and Doug Sanders for the open golf.........Jack Nicklaus busted the bet and he has never been the same since.....

Was there a football pitch in the middle of that track sparrow ?

I think you asked me once before irish but yes Clapton Orient played there before moving to Lea Bridge Stadium in 1930 and then on to Leyton in 1937.

I thought Johnny Bassett also trained Yellow Printer.

Bassett did train Yellow Pinter who won the Irish Derby but was later transferred to be trained by Paddy Milligan.
